It's Monday and my best friend is here!

Hello, there. How was your week? Ours has been busy and I am really happy because my best friend has been here visiting for the past few days. We have been friends since high school and although we live in different states now, I'm always so glad when we can fit a few days into our busy lives. This might help to explain why I am still reading the same book. It could also have something to do with the mountain of reviews I have to catch up on. Oops....

  3. If you ask me, having a high school BFF in town is a perfect reason to read a little slower. Is this your first time with Brian Jacques? I was obsessed with his books for most of middle school, and Martin the Warrior is the first book I can remember making me cry about a character. I've been thinking of rereading them sometime soon.

    Have a great week!

    1. I really enjoyed Oracle Night. I think I am still processing my thoughts about In the Country of Last Things. It's interesting that Auster was thinking about a post-apocalyptic world years before it was popular, isn't it?
